Hey! I'm Kiri
Educator, Biz Owner, Life Changer,
Wife and Mama of 2
When kids come along it’s easy to forget about ourselves AND our partners.
We are busy all of the time, have to prioritize other things (#mumlife) and we often forget who we are as women. (Like when was the last time you got to ____ on your own? Let alone have a pee by yourself...)
And unfortunately, you never learnt how to share your thoughts without nagging or starting a giant fight...
... Or what to do when your partner's in the mood but you're not "feelin' it"...
... Or how to talk to your partner about something they don't think is important.
So if you're a:
Busy Mum (or Mom 😉) who still loves your partner and you know you've got something worth saving, but you're just not sure where to start...
You're in the right place.
If you want to:
Communicate effectively with your partner AND bring back that spark without having to wait until your relationship is in crisis.
(Like mine was when I was knee deep in Post-Partum Depression, baby vomit, colic PLUS a busy toddler.)
You're in the right place.
I had to figure out how to save my marriage at a time when it was all hitting the fan...
I don't want that for you.
If you had a quality relationship before kids, then you can have it back again (and even better!)
Learn the tools and get the support you need without breaking the bank.
I'm a Mama of 2 beautiful children (Olive & Lauki) and wife to Laurie. We live in rural New Zealand with our dog, sheep and chickens.
I trained as a High School Art Teacher here in NZ after achieving my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa in Canada where I'm originally from.
My husband and I have been together since 2009 but since we became a family in 2016 our relationship has changed dramatically. Adding kids into the mix is bound to change things up a bit, but not to the extent either of us expected.
The truth is, when I was pregnant with my son (2018) our relationship deteriorated. We stopped talking about how we were feeling, we distanced ourselves a lot from each other and we didn’t listen/acknowledge or even value what the other had to say.
We were going through the daily motions but there was no intimacy, no connection. In March 2019 everything changed. After some big revelations and a diagnosis we both made the decision that we wanted our relationship to work. That we weren’t prepared to throw away what we had. We have spent the last 2 years actively finding our way back to each other; to learn how to communicate again, experience passion again, and get back to a relationship that is fulfilling and FUN.
Now I help other Mum’s achieve the same. I am passionate about empowering Mum’s with the tools they need to have a stronger partnership than they did before the kids.
